Welcome to Black Gold Outreach!

Black Gold Outreach is a division service that offers alternate education programs designed to address individual student needs. Two locations within the Black Gold Regional Division - one in the Leduc Recreation Centre and the other in the Chantelle Berube Youth Centre in Beaumont - provide an inviting atmosphere to promote student learning.  We recognize that while many students learn best in a classroom environment within a traditional school, there are those who cannot find success or reach their educational goals in that setting. Because of challenges in their learning, in their individual nature, in their school programming, or in their personal lives; they need to access an alternative learning environment to complete their education. We offer an alternative to studying in the classroom through self-directed learning, one of the most versatile options for earning school credits.  Our programs allow students to complete courses independently at home, at work, or at school. They have the option of working with teachers in person, by phone, fax, e-mail or online. We have a proven reputation for successfully delivering self-directed learning programs to hundreds of students for over fifteen years.   We recognize that independent learners need choices and we are confident that the flexible independent study programming we offer meets that need.
